With a hands-on approach to doing business, Dawn Farahi oversees client strategy and crisis communications while empowering and developing a strong team of practitioners within OneSeven Agency. Her refreshingly sincere, straightforward approach has resulted in affiliations with countless well-known industry movers and shakers, along with meaningful partnerships and placements for her clients.

With more than 20 years in the PR and marketing game, Farahi helms a dynamic agency, providing a diverse set of clientele with innovative representation. Farahi was the Executive Corporate Director of Communications for Fortune 100 Sands Corp., where she was a driving force behind the $1.9 billion Palazzo grand opening. She created OneSeven Agency to provide clients with what she sought while in-house, giving her an innate ability to both process and produce visionary service for her client’s goals. Always looking ahead to “what’s next,” Farahi’s digital team was one of the first to incorporate digital influencers in measurable contracted campaigns in the Las Vegas market.

Named PRSA’s “PR Practitioner of the Year,” Farahi has lectured to UNLV’s Journalism and Media Studies program served as President-Elect for the PRSA Las Vegas Valley Chapter, and was an advocate at the Global Gaming Expo. She is an alumnus of the Chamber of Las Vegas Leadership program, class of 2020.

Giving back to the community is very important to Farahi. She is a proud working board member and chair of the Little Black Dress monthly giving program for the Las Vegas Chapter of Dress For Success believing strongly in their mission of empowering women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Farahi also sits on the board of Shade Tree, which helps homeless and abused women and children in crisis; and she is regularly involved on several fundraising committees for St. Jude’s Ranch, which serves foster children and victims of human trafficking. Previously, she served on the board for Las Vegas Fashion Council and volunteered for Safe Nest’s Project Safe 417, a collaborative program between SafeNest and LVMPD dedicated to reducing domestic violence.

Farahi spends quality time with her husband, H Farahi, and their Shih Tzu, MeiLi, while touring vineyards, hosting parties, practicing pilates, traveling, hitting the dining scene and binge-watching the latest Netflix programs.
