A prominent name in Las Vegas for more than a decade, Dawn Britt is a leading, influential figure in the world of public relations. Fulfilling a long time goal of opening her own public relations agency, she is now the CEO and Founder of one7 communications. As the driving force behind one7’s strategy and emphasizing measurable results, Dawn oversees agency operations, crisis communications  and serves as a hands on pragmatic advisor for the entire client portfolio. In addition, Dawn handles day-to-day communications with a few clients including  Emeril Lagasse Corporate, Viceroy L’ermitage Beverly Hills, Affinity Gaming, Alex & Ani and Pandora and the famous Yamashiro Hollywood.  Her refreshingly sincere, straightforward and from-the-heart approach has earned Dawn respect from top-tier media, community partners and marketing colleagues resulting in long-lasting solid relationships.

Prior to opening her agency, Dawn served as the Corporate Director of Communications for Sands Corp., a leading developer of destination-integrated resorts across the globe. There, she was responsible for the community outreach and social responsibility initiatives for the Fortune 500 company which operates seven casino resorts worldwide.

Formerly serving as the Ex Director of Public Relations and Communications and member of Executive Committee at two of Las Vegas Sands’ crown jewel properties, The Venetian and The Palazzo, Dawn oversaw the entire public relations and marketing communications departments, campaigns and strategies for the AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Four Star resorts. Additionally, Dawn spearheaded the communications strategies for several individual in-house establishments including restaurant, nightlife, luxury retail and spa and entertainment openings.

Through her creativity, personal relationships and strategic alliances, Dawn brought several charitable organizations and events to the properties including March of Dimes, James Beard Foundation, Lili Claire Foundation, Global Green USA, Bon Appetit, The Hollywood Style Awards, the USO and Armed Forces Foundation. She also was the driving force behind the grand opening of the $1.9 billion Palazzo resort complex in 2007.

Years of strong media relations, networking and persistence has allowed Dawn to secure several partnerships and placements for her clients in several outlets including Esquire Magazine, The Today Show, Robb Report, The Los Angeles Times, The Ellen Show, CNN, E! Fashion Police, QVC, Extra, Wheel of Fortune, Elite Traveler, Forbes, Food & Wine to name a few.  

Over the span of her career, Dawn has led her team to multiple awards including the ICSC MAXI Merit National Marketing Award, PRSA Bronze Anvil Awards and Pinnacle Awards and PR News Platinum Awards. She recently was named PRSA’s “PR Practitioner of the Year.”

An east coast native, Dawn graduated from Mercyhurst College with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising. After making the move to Las Vegas, she immersed herself in the community. She has lectured for and is an active mentor for UNLV’s Journalism and Media Studies program, served as President-Elect Las Vegas Valley Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, and has spoken on behalf of the entertainment and nightlife industry at the Global Gaming Expo. She is actively involved in fundraising efforts for Aids of Aid of Nevada (AFAN), Helping Hands and Nevada Homeless Youth organizations.

Dawn currently lives in Henderson and when not spending time with her family and friends, she enjoys traveling and can often be found in Napa Valley or Temecula touring the vineyards, relaxing and dining, reading and enjoying the beach near the ocean, or walking throughout NYC, shopping, visiting art-galleries and experiencing the latest restaurants, a couple of her favorite getaway destinations.
