A prominent name in Las Vegas for more than a decade, Dawn Britt is a leading, influential figure in the world of public relations and marketing. She is the Founder and CEO of one7 communications agency with a strong client portfolio including Emeril Lagasse’s restaurants, STK, Chef John Tesar and Knife Dallas, Yamashiro Hollywood, Sugar Factory, Alex and Ani, Pandora Jewelry, Givenchy, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Viceroy L’ermitage, Trump International Hotel, Michael Boychuck Color Salon and many more.  

Through her years, she has created strong personal relationships and strategic alliances, working with major charities and renowned brands including March of Dimes, James Beard Foundation, Lili Claire Foundation, Global Green USA, Bon Appetit, The Hollywood Style Awards, the USO and Armed Forces Foundation, Simon G Jewelry, TAO Asian Bistro, Phantom of The Opera, Christian Dior Cosmetics, Sephora and Barneys New York.

Britt oversees new business development, media planning and buying, crisis communications, celebrity relations and serves as a hands-on pragmatic advisor for the entire client portfolio, while building her company’s network through media and digital influencer relations and strategic partnerships. Her refreshingly sincere, straightforward and from-the-heart approach has earned respect from top-tier media, community partners and colleagues, resulting in solid relationships.

As the former Corporate Director of Communications for Sands Corp., a Fortune 500 leading developer of seven destination-integrated casino resorts across the globe, Britt was responsible for community outreach and CSR initiatives.

She oversaw the public relations and marketing communications departments for the AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Four Star crown jewel properties, The Venetian and The Palazzo, including in-house restaurant, nightlife, luxury retail, spa and entertainment establishments, and was the driving force behind the grand opening of the $1.9 billion Palazzo in 2007.

Years of strong media relations, networking and persistence have allowed Britt to secure partnerships and placements in a variety of outlets including Esquire Magazine, “The Dish,” “The Today Show,” Robb Report, The Los Angeles Times, “The Ellen Show,” CNN, “E! Fashion Police,” QVC, “Extra,” “Wheel of Fortune,” Elite Traveler, Forbes, Food & Wine, WSJ, People, Men’s Journal and Maxim.

Over the span of her career, Britt has led her team to multiple awards including the ICSC MAXI Merit National Marketing Award, PRSA Bronze Anvil Awards and Pinnacle Awards and PR News Platinum Awards. In 2014, she was named PRSA’s “PR Practitioner of the Year.”

An east coast native, Britt graduated from Mercyhurst College with a bachelors of science in marketing and fashion merchandising. After making the move to Las Vegas, she immersed herself in the community, lecturing and mentoring for UNLV’s Journalism and Media Studies program, serving as President-Elect Las Vegas Valley Chapter of PRSA and speaking on behalf of the entertainment and nightlife industry at the Global Gaming Expo. She is a member of the board for the Las Vegas Fashion Council and is actively involved directly and through her clients in fundraising efforts for Aids of Aid of Nevada (AFAN), Helping Hands, Goodie Two Shoes, Three Square and Nevada Homeless Youth organizations.

Britt enjoys spending time with her family, friends and shih tzu MeiLi, while traveling, touring vineyards, hosting dinner parties, cooking, experiencing the newest restaurants and binge-watching the latest Netflix programs.
